If you have been waiting for a good day to come to Church… The first Wednesday in August would probably be your best bet.
Everytime Perry takes a break from preaching, he always brings his best sermon on his first day back… Sometimes his breaks aren’t always planned (example: the time he almost died), but when he returns it’s the best Hour or so you ever will have in church.
I have no idea what he will be bringing to the table… but what I can tell is, he is well rested and pumped up about Jesus Christ. God must have really ROCKED his world! I am excited about the whole thing… I am pretty much excited about church period.
The guys that have been filling in for Perry are doing AWESOME jobs as well… Trevor Cox is just friggin hillarious. A good ole country boy that loves him some Jesus. On a side note, if you download the message he preached, listen to it on Windows Media player (the new version) and slow down the play speed just a little, it’s HILLARIOUS! Allen Cothran preached this past Sunday, and he always brings it to the table. He is an incredibley intelligent man… and also a very skinny one… the camera is supposed to add 10 lbs, but in his case I think it subtracted 10… This week will be Jason Wilson. I have never heard Jason preach, well I take that back, I have heard him preach, but I am sure he will bring it to the table. He is such a great guy. I do believe that he is also a country boy, so maybe he’ll have some good country life applications to bring to us as well!
