02. A Clockwork Orange – Never saw it, but might just have to

And now the moment you have all been waiting for. The MOST controversial movie of all TIME according to Entertainment Weekly… The most horrific, sacriligious, murderous, sexually explicit, vile movie on the market…

01. The Passion of Christ – WHAT? ok so there's not anything sexually explicit about the movie… BUT HOW DOES THIS GET NUMBER ONE, NUMERO UNO, TOP SPOT, CREAME OF THE CROP OF CONTROVERSY??? You mean to tell me a movie that down right tells LIES about Jesus Christ (The Da Vinci Code) doesn't even make it into the TOP TEN, but a movie that is VERY, VERY, VERY close to being accurate, makes it to the TOP SLOT??? You have got to be kidding me.

I am not upset, outraged or anything like that. You want to know why? It goes right along with what JESUS has always been… Controversial. From the beginning of his earthly ministry, Jesus, was controversial. The Pharisees  and other religious people of the time wanted to KILL Jesus for his teachings… because they were against everything that they believed. If you read throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) and various other books of the New Testament that talk about Jesus's earthly ministry, you will see that the Pharisees wanted to literally KILL Jesus, for what he was teaching… they made "plans and plots" to KILL HIM.  If Jesus healed someone on the Sabbath, the Pharisees would tell him what he was doing was wrong, and Jesus would have a reply, then after hearing what Jesus had to say, they would say, "How do we get rid of this man, he is BLASPHEMOUS".

You see Jesus has always been controversial and for the remainder of our time on Earth, he will always be. Because there will always be people that REJECT what the TRUTH is… That Jesus Christ is LORD and GOD… He is the only way to ETERNAL life in HEAVEN… and without accepting HIM, a person will have ETERNAL life in HELL… Controversy is what it's all about. I work at a "Controversial" church… I live in a Controversial world… People all the time ask, "why does a church need security?". It's simple, we are controversial, PEOPLE JUST DONT LIKE US. We're DIFFERENT.

Alright… I am out.

Clockwork Orange is great. A kubrick mindf#ck if you will. Takes a look at society and stuff. Also KIDS was just plain scary, especially if you were a parent in NYC. It also bred the popularity of the song “I have no legs” sung by homeless guy in the subway.
